“Fiction is the form of any work that deals, in part or in whole, with information or events that are not real, but rather, imaginary and theoretical—that is, invented by the author.www. en.wikipedia.org

It appears stress, responsibilities, and that word ‘busy’ have become a part of our everyday life. Maybe it’s time sit down with a book and travel into a land of discovery and imagination?
I know writing fiction takes me away from my troubles. Sometimes I’m in the distant past, the more recent past and sometimes in the present. I love to tell of friendships and the passions which motivate out choices as we experience things for the first time. An example is my character Jessikah in the Daughters of the Wind series seeing an Arabian stallion for the first time. Books teach us facts that remain in the recesses of our brain to pop forward when you least expect it.

“You should never read just for “enjoyment.” Read to make yourself smarter! Less judgmental. More apt to understand your friends’ insane behavior, or better yet, your own. Pick “hard books.” Ones you have to concentrate on while reading. And for god’s sake, don’t let me ever hear you say, “I can’t read fiction. I only have time for the truth.” Fiction is the truth! “
